Yes, I do know that this is the third time I have asked this and I do apologize to those who have helped me. Here's the lowdown: while deleting old programs I didn't use, I accidentally deleted my ATI Driver. Now it won't hibernate, go into standby, or play any games whatsoever. I have tried doing the right click - properties - power settings method to turn on standby and that doesn't work. www.amd.com doesn't help that much, either it doesn't work or I don't know how to find the right file (yes I do know about putting in my info and stuff for that). The Toshiba website is extremely jacked up, like I can't download anything or get any help on stuff without the page freezing up on a white screen. Every time I try to install a package, partway through this message shows up: "Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system."My operating system is a Laptop Toshiba Satellite L35 - S2174, and it says on the bottom of my computer that it has Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, but the Direct X Diagnostic Tool says I have a Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600). I deleted what was left of the ATI Stuff except for the ATI Control Center. I'm at square one. Detailed step-by-step instructions to get my ATI Driver working again would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Go to start, click control panel, click system, click hardware, click devise manager tab, scroll list to the ATI, right click it, click properties, click enable, update driver, click apply and save, close all windows, turn off and restart lap top.You may have to use a set of system recovery disc made for your lap top to reinstall all the system ATI files you deleted to correct the problem. If you do not have the disc set then order by model and serial number from Toshiba customer support.Link for the ATI and display drivers:http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1566462&rpn=PSL33U&modelFilter=L35-S2174&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663Yes Windows XP media Center Edition has the Professional version along with the media center.
