I was wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to upgrade a Pansat 2700a (original, not an upgrade from 2500) to be a high def receiver? if possible, is it a hardware upgrade (meaning you install an additional part), or a software upgrade I can install through the serial cable.
I'm guessing the answer is no, but it doesn't hurt to ask in my humble opinion.
forgot to mention that I'm using a Dish Network 500 dish. is this dish able to get high def signal if I had the right receiver?
