V201 Tests and Results

I'm testing a couple 2700A units. can't afford the 9200 now) I've tried the V201 per the instructions posted by Casper. Tried resetting the factory Defaults in between Bin loads. Loaded new Channel lists, Blind Scans..... There's got to be a bug. I'm amazed if anyone has a 2700A working.
My idea.... be patient and wait for a solid bin to come out. Until then, support our moderators like Casper7 who puts up with a lot of crap on here. AND... If anyone comes up with a loading technique.. please share it. G'night and G'Luck.

This Was the factory file I loaded before I applied the V201 - Tested & Working for 12 hours now. Casper7 posted instuctions which worked great for me

Loaded the 120bin, then the new V201. Still nothing. Channel info comes up a minute... then black screen. and repeats.
I've never JTaged. Can that have something to do with it?

hi,

i uploaded the v201 bin and then i did a factory reset followed by a blind scan. i seem to be receiving all channels (ppv, cable news, movie channels, porn). i did not have to upload the 120 bin after doing a factory reset and then upload the v201 bin.

is there a reason for uploading the 120 bin before uploading the v201 bin?

Wow, Thanks Vince.
After following Casper7 instructions... and had the V201 loaded.... and black screened-
I went back and did a factory reset again
then blind scanned yet again. IT'S NOW UP.

yes this file is goog v201 first load the file then factry setup redownload all the chanalls
