Hi Folks,
I have a ViewSat Extreme running 110 and 119. I turned it on yesterday to find a lot of channels were "searching signal" so I reset my receiver to factory default, setup my antennas afresh and did a channel search. It appeared to be the worst decision ever. I have now lost very many channels including most of the PPVs, HBO, Setanta Sports, and very many others. I have tried tweaking my antenna setup to see if I was doing something wrong but it didn't help. I even tried downloading the channel list, installing it, and rebooting my receiver, and then doing a search and I still got nothing. Anyone who can maybe lay out the steps to setup my receiver from scratch, from antenna setup configs to channels search steps and whatever else they deem to be necessary will be my savior.
There used to be a posting explaining exactly this on this site but I cannot find it anymore. I used it before and it worked perfectly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers!!
BTW, I noticed that when I change the TP Frequency for 119 to 12239, the signal strength is in the low 50s while the quality bar is at 0. The closest frequency where I have both bars in the low-to-mid 70s is when I have the freq. at 12370 and is strongest at 12486. I don't know what this means or if it helps.
