How to Recover from the E010 ERROR

The E010 is message displayed on the front of the Receiver when the TSOP thinks it sees a corrupt file loaded on Boot Up, most of the time it is a false Negative. Meaning the Receiver needs to be rebooted but with a long rest so as to clears it's memory (so to speak).

Before trying anything, turn off the Receive and unplug everything and leave it unplugged from the wall outlet overnight 4 to 6 hours. With the Receiver unplugged, short out the Prongs of the power cords, together, to discharge the Circuits of any static charge. Use any metallic object to short out the 2 prongs on the plug.

Plug in the Receiver to the Wall outlet.

Turn it on, if the E010 error message is gone, great if it is not then follow the procedures below.


1) Download and unzip both the Limesat Loader and Factory bin V1.3 to your PC.
2) Connect your receiver to your computer using your Null Modem cable.
3) Open your Limesat Loader and select the factory bin V1.3.
4) Select the appropriate com port (port 1 is recommended)
5) Leave Receiver OFF.
6) In the Loader Screen, click the "Start" then Turn Rear Switch ON.
7) The Loading should start, do not interrupt it till done.
8) If it fails to load, try timing Sequence Procedure as follows.
9) Timing is very important in this Procedure ! Put your mouse over the "Start" button and as soon as you turn the Rear switch on your receiver ON click the "Start" button. If your to slow it will not load and you must repeat this step !
10) Wait until it finishes and reboots itself, then load the latest fix, via the USB Port.
11) Proceed to Menu Antenna setup and Set up your satellites and scan when you have Proper Sat lock
12) Click Menu, Network Settings, IP=Box Info and confirm that you Hsave Connect [2]. If not start your own thread and ask for assistance

NOTE
Always Unplug your receiver BEFORE disconnecting Or Connecting your Coax cable. FAILURE to do so MAY damage your Switches or LNBs or your Receiver.

I have tried this, but couldn't get it to bust loose, when itrun the box back on and hit the start in sequence, nothing happens, besides mine always comes up in boot mode then a few minutes later it goes to all 0000, so wheni hold the power button then turn back on from the boot mode screen the loader will work, but only gets to about 75% then flashes the E010 error code, and it also starts the count 4000, and makes to about 1900 on the count before kicking offline, I have tried everything i know to try, i haven't even got a screen it's totally black with lines through it so i can't even use the usb port to try it that way, if you have anything else to try i sure would appreciate it

When i do this it always flash to boot, and then converts to all 0000, the only way i'm able to load, or start loading anything is to turn box off, hold the power button on and then the on switch in the back after that it will start to load, but it start's out at 4000, and counts down to around 75%, and then times out, but i am able to continue this process, but nothing ever gets loaded, and it doesn't matter what software i try same results, it's like it has corrupted epromn, that needs some special software to write around to get where i can load the Factory 1.03, any other suggestion to try

Return for replacement ----Like we have all been telling you on the other 2 sites you have posted this.

I'm not giving up that easy, besides that he box is 7 months old, i know there not going to exchange it out

Well then best put it in the closet cause you have tried everything possible to get it going and nothing is working.

You realize there is a 1 year warranty on these units if bought from an authorized Limesat Dealer.

It's not an update -----Just the warranty offered to all Limesat buyers who buy from an authorized Limesat dealer.

I told you this on the other 2 sites you have been posting on.
