New user here and I am lost!

Hi guys I am new here and I am lost. I do the trial and error thing but that does not always work either. Can you help me with this problem: I downloaded the new boot for the B75 onto my Pansat 2700A with the cable. I used the X-87BL 27.2 loader and the boot seems to be working but when I do the Bin upload it just says downloading and goes no further. It does not send error message it just does the same old thing. I tried several different bins and get the same thing. Now it does have the b-75 rolling across the display...Please help! I am wondering if I corrupted the receiver? The b-75 rolling across the screen is supposed to be confirmation of sucessful upgrade; must I jtag. This is new area for me and need to learn how to got about downloading files. Already have Jtag construction info. Purchased Jtag from e-bay should arrive soon.

Well I must say that it does pay to be diligent! I tried one more thing and sure enough it did work and I am up and running again. I used the Blacklist uploader. I was not instructed on how exactly to use this item so when I tryed previously I couldn't get it. I needed to push the STB button before I did the download and surprisingly it worked. Thanks for your consideration.
