I haven't been able to get back up since all the trouble started Dec/Jan. I thought we were just in the great draught and there were no fixes, but it sounds like everybody is able to at least get up for a while.
Testing is awesome, cause basic cable is brutal!
Troubleshooting
I've got a Viewsat Platinum
Live Eastern Standard Time
Have been up before with full channels and gone through a number of new bins. Don't think I'm doing anything wrong here?
Just in case I have gone step by step through Thread - HOW TO AIM
Have Factory defaulted and tried at least 10 new bins all with the same nil result
Have noticed there is a new operating display system since last was up
Now displays signal and quality, etc. - Was this something new or is this my issue? How do I go back to the old one?
Most recently tried process in How to Aim with Dbpsw-080222p
After Antenna set up and channel scan with multitude of different satellites (notice there are now more options than previous display system- Have mainly tried Echostar 6, 8
LNB type Standard
LNB Freq 11250
TP freq 12251
Port 1
At bottom S 77 Q 94
Auto DiSEqc - successful
Channel scan - no problem
Wait 15 minutes
Channels stuck in searching signal, autoroll processing or no audio video
Have gone to Options to check autoroll
Auto TP is on - don't really know what this does?
Auto Roll All
Also when I try to download the guide get - Guide not found
Help - don't know what else to do???
