[Help!] Need help setting up viewsat 7000 pvr please!

hi all! im a new member and im new to fta. a friend of mine has a viewsat ultra, i liked it so much i bought a viewsat 7000 pvr, and my friend wanted to help but he is not at all fammiliar with 7000. now i really have no idea what do to. i cant even get trough the antenna setup. I have dishpro 500 twin lnb that im trying to use with it. im very lost, for an example i heard im supposed to choose OCS PRO for LNB TYPE. I dont even have that option! it will only let me choose standard or universal. Please help, i pretty much need step by step. do i need any files? what are my chances of getting it working?

I would love to help but i do not own a 7000 pvr or had any real use of one. Ever since they went on sale at skyhighelectronics for 139 we have noticed a lot more intrest in them. Sometimes you need to upgrade the software with the latest fix in order to get the new antena settings.

ok i got it now, thank you so much guys you're great. i formated the hd and installed the new file and it worked i did get the ocs dp in my antenna set up. but now im dealing with another problem, apperently im not pointing my dish right. my S is 75% but Q is not showing up at all! dont know what to do next, because of course no channels are showing up! anyone has any ideas? would it be a bad idea to try and call some of the independed dish companies and maybe get it installed by them?
