Hi there I was wondering if anyone out there can help me with my CPU temperature? Right not my CPU temperature idle is at 60 degree Celsius. I think that is pretty high and not healthy for my CPU. I would like to at reduce it to normal temperature at 40 degree Celsius. Thank you:cry:

More information would help us to answer you better. Is it a manufactured computer or custom built? What type of CPU, motherboard, etc.?

Just off the top of my head:
  1. Remove wires over the fan and heat sink to improve air flow.
  2. Add more fans to bring more cool air in the case.
  3. Blow out the dust from the computer, with a compressed can of air or a air compressor if you have access to one.
  4. Change your heat sink and fan, stock heat sinks are not that great.
  5. Buy a better case with more fan options.
  6. Remove the heat skin and fan, verify its properly installed.
  7. Use a better thermal pasted.
  8. Power supply sometime give off a ton of heat, upgrade to a more efficient one. If your power supply is hot to the touch it could be the problem.

you can always add another fan they sell the ones that attach right at the back and use connectors that will run off any extra power supply ends...
