hello everyone. i need some help. i just purchased a used pansat 2700a. i received the unit. currently it has apiver:1.16n, boot version:6.2 and the date is 12-17-06. im trying to get this receiver online. what do i need to do to get online? i read updating the boot version from b70 to b75. does the same rules apply upgrading from 6.2 to 7.5? please help with complete instrunctions for this. thanks all

I have a 2700a and I am not sure what some of those numbers you stated are. First, make sure you do not have a clone, or 2500 upgraded to a 2700. If all is right, download the factory toolkit from the Pansat 2700 download section. Follow the instructions that come with it. After getting the 2700a to the current factory level, do a blind scan and verify you can actually see a FTA channel. Both DN and BEV have a few in the clear. Then, download and load the current BIN file and all should be good in tesing land.

were is the factory toolkit? my goal is to upgrade from 6.2 bootversion to 75 boot version

It is in the receiver file download section, under the Pansat 2700, at the top.
