increase odds or not

Hello everyone, I have a pansat 2700a (have to get another receiver for another TV) heard Viewsat/captive works are good(thanks casper7)
My question is will I increase my odds of having at least one tv going if I have 2 different type recievers? Meaning is the receiver zapped or is the Satilite signal zapped and therefore any receiver attached to the sat. signal even if different type will lose signal.
I am not a TV junky and can go without for awhile, but I am a sports junky and if I am getting ready to watch my college team's game and zap, that would hurt bad.

the boxes that work great good support are Sonicview, viewsat, captivework.

it's really up to you if you don't want to wait long and it does not hurt to have a backup receiver like pansat....
