I read that i-link 9000 plus is up with a new file.
My search resulted in finding the above mentioned file but it screws up my receiver making me to believe that this is good for IS9000 and not for IS9000P (plus), am I right?
If so what is the file that I need? Where can I find it?

No it is not the file for the 9000, It is the correct file for the 9000P. The channels all work they just don't show right on the front of the receiver.:)

I do not mind garbage display, the problem is I am stuck in menu. Exit does not work and I cannot watch anything other than various menu options.
Am I the only one experiencing this? Is there a way out of menu?

unplug everything then do hard reboot from back this should put it back to normal after you do a hard reboot unplug again wait about 10 minutes then plug everything on then hit the power button.

Here comes the stupid question: What is a hard reboot? Tunring it off by the switch in the back? Or is it a combination of various keys pressed simultaneously?
I did a search but did not find an answer.

It's not a stupid question, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. Any way yes just turn it off from the back switch .

Yes hard reboot is turning OFF rear switch for 30 seconds -----But that will NOT solve your problem.

Only way for you to get out of the menu is to re enter your antenna information properly and re scan your sats.

Until you scan your sats you will be stuck in the menu only.

Little quirk of both the Ilink and the CNX Receivers.
