messed up after printer install

howdy all the P.Off Vista people ...after installing printer drivers had issues with computer. 1. when on the internet either a. it shuts down or b) internet will not shut down properly. NOW....all the desktop Icons have turned to office word icon and nothing will open up... tried the restore but no luck. searched everywhere on the net but could not find even that same issue. any1 have an idea

It looks like you have to reinstall the program save what ever you can and reinstall vista...do you have your copy??????

Not sure its my moms computer... its only a year old im wondering if she could bring it in where she got it. /im guessing if it was a issue that Vista and HP printers know about it ..the repair SHOULD be covered.
