[Help!] Not Testing, just want some FTA channels

I used to "test" using DirecTV and using a Pansat 2500. I gave that up long ago because, quite frankly, there were 500 channels and nothing on! ;) But now I have a new dilemma. I bought a house in rural Tennesee that has crappy local TV coverage. Basically, I have two channels, both fuzzy. The previous owner had Dish Network up and running, and left her satellite and cables in place. She kept her receivers. I would like to use my existing Pansat 2500 to pluck the true FTA channels off a sat, just so I could have 3 or 4 network channels for some basic entertainment. I don't want to mess with bins and flashing and all that. I just want to do a true "Free To Air".

Can I do that with this Pansat receiver and Dish Pro dish which is still pointed at 110 and 119? I thought I read that 119 had three or four unscrambled network channels coming down.

I've tried hooking it up, but I'm sure the old DirectV settings (frequencies, etc) are what's stopping me from seeing anything. Is there a newbie guide for doing plain ol' FTA with a Pansat?

Thx
