PRINCE.EDWARD.ISLAND (CBC) - RCMP say they no longer consider the discovery of a body on the shore of a river in Stratford to be a suspicious death.
A person living near the end of the Mason Road reported the incident to police Tuesday afternoon at about 3 p.m.
Police say they will be confirming the body's identity Wednesday morning and will make no more comments about the investigation.
There were no signs of violence on the body, RCMP said Tuesday, but the death was initially treated as suspicious as part of standard operating procedures.
