Hello,
I'm new in this business. So I'll need your advise.
I got VIEWSAT ULTRA LITE RECEIVER and those dishes 2:
Triple satellite - Multi Satellite Dish 3 LNB and SLIMLINE DIRECTV 5 LNB DISH KAKU

So I know those multi sat dishes can get more than one sat. But because I don't know how to set up right settings in VIEWSAT antenna set up menu I receiving only one sat per dish. So that means insted of receiving those sat: 101, 110, 119, 99, 103 I got only 119 and 148.
Please help me with that. I even dont know what LNB tipes those dishes has:
standart, universal or other kind.
Thank You so much.

You have a superdish for DTV? The lnb's are the right kind but DTV uses there own switches and may or may not work with the setting in the FTA recivers. Since the FTA recievers are setup for niagravision there tuned to dishnet therefor the DTV switches and special hardware like your dish will not be supported. You will be further ahead to get seperate dishes or a universal like this one. It uses just standard LNB's and then you use a disq switch that came in your reciver box. The pic below shows the seperat lnb's and the switch needed. Another supported dish is the dishnet superdish and has a pic below the other one. But i'll warn ya there a bastard to setup. You also may want ot look into a dish motor. Another pic is below the superdish.

Thank You so much. That was helpfull. Ok so basically if I'll order dish motor. That way I can use my Slimline multisat dish and get all those sat. Do you have any link where can I find more info about how to find all those satellites after I install that motor. Because to find 1 sat is easy but find 5 with one dish might be more difficult. Many thanks:D

Well, if your going to go the dismotor rought, then you need to use another style dish. You can not use your DTV dish. The dish must me at least 32" round, and may require a specual LNB, I use the invacom becasue it supports real fta and pay tv as well. Aiming the motor will nto be simple. There are 3 points you need to look at. Motor angle, dish angle, pole angel, and horizontal angel (side to side) all have to be 100% or as the motor moves it'll be out more and more the further it turns.

Satellite look-angle calculator

there is a Sat calculator that supports most popular styles of motors.

:)If I were you I would stick to a stationary dish that way you can hook up two boxes and watch to different sats at same time & you don't have black screen on tv when changeing from one sat to another if you use a 36' elyptical dish will receive all 82w 91w 110w 119w you don't need 101w but you can get that as well.... now that being said I would put two 21' elyptical dish up one for b3ll 82w & 91w which is not working at this time but will be in future . and then another 21' elyptical dish that you can use for d!sh which is 110w 119w now you can also add 129w 148w they are also d!sh sats ... now that we have that cleared up there is no need to point at 82w or 129w unless you have a HD sat box so if you have a regular sat box you can use one 21' elyptical dish with 3 lnb's one for 91w b3v & one for 110w & one for 119w which are d!sh.. all these exsampes let you watch two boxes at same time & no black air between sats or channel changeing ... Cheers hope this helped a little because it was a pain in the butt typing it all not much of speller or typer anyway Happy Holidays & Good Luck.... Cheers...:D

Hello, sorry for that but I got one more question about the same. I just find this LNB on ebay. It looks like regular one. ........"82/91/101/110/119/129 LNB for Directv Dishnetwork FTA"....... It says works with FTA So why can I just buy one of those and use with my exsisting Multi Satellite Dish 3 LNB. I just need to replace that direct tv 3 lns with this one and should be ok. Or I'm mistaken... I believe this is relevant question for all beginners so answer would be helpfull not only for me but for all of as.Thanks :):):)

You can.... But your DTV dish is made for it's OWN lnb. Universal elipictal dishs are made for univeral lnb's. The Bracket is the problem with the DTV dish. If you find a aftermarket bracket on ebay for yer dtv dish then it will work fine.
