hello everyone. i just brought a 2500 that been upgraded to a pansat 2700. i dl the 11-22 bin. when i selected scan sat echo8, and echo7. it repeats the channels twice, and som channels are not there. itryed swapping the diesc switch no luck. im getting some channels and some ppv. but not all. when i dl a new bin is that the a/r fix? or do a/r still has to be off. im confused. can somone please help. i tryed everything in the search i can find, but no luck. thanks all

can someone tell me , why i keep frying receivers? everytime i dl the latest bin, it works for about 6 hours, and then no power. i think it need jtaged. but what am i doing wrong to cause this? thanks

For the first question, did you delete the channels before scanning? If not, this would definitely give you double channels of everything that's there.
I'm assuming the channels you're missing are PPV, HBO, etc. ? Basically all the channels that are using the new 0106 key which the older receivers are not, (apparently), being fixed to include. If this is the case, you won't be able to get those channels with the current receiver you have. You WILL need a new one.

For your second question, are they all the same type of receiver? (2500 converted to 2700) And are you sure you're using the right bin file on it? You may want to try a clone file and see if this helps.
Honestly, your best bet is to go and buy a brand new receiver. Make sure you don't buy a clone. These old receivers you are using (2700 and below) are on their way out and will be useless very soon.
