How do I get windows vista back after cleaning my harddrive?

I used my recovery discs to "wipe and erase data" which basically cleaers the whole internal harddrive. I thought I could jus use my recovery discs to re install windows but it does not read any recovery discs.

You just dont do it! Get Linux or if it has to be windows than get XPBut stay away from Vista it sucks!

you have to buy windows vista again, or take it to pc world, or anyother computer store, they can do it

windows vista was the reason y ur computer's hard drive crashed. i switched back 2 windowsXP. old is gold. works even much better.

You need to describe the problem in detail. What do you mean by "it does not read any recovery dics"? Exactly how did you try to read them and what exactly happened?

if you got a vista install disk from your computers man., just pop it in and follow the directions...the recovery disks are usually for recovering a 'lost' OS in case of a crash.

Hi,What program were the recovery disks created with as you may need to run that to perform the restore?What recovery disks are they, from another drive partition?The only other way is to get a windows install disk!Just mail me and I'll try and help.Arnak
