How to move data from lmy pc to an external harddrive?

all windows system come with copy or move. in any folder, however with itunes, far as i know, have to have the files in a system folder first.

Moving data like your MP3s and photos. Connect drive and drag them into a folder. PRograms like iTune can't be moved to a different drive brcause it's already installed on your C drive. You might be able to format the external drive and instal programs on it but I doubt as i never done it before.

Move your My Music folder which contains your files that have your MetaData and more in it and have the Music in the iTUnes fokder in it if set to have music in that folder just copy the whole folder and it should reconize it but just try and see if it has the music in the folder if not just go to the sources and reimport them into them with the task of the Put in iTunes folder. checked.
