I need help with Coolsat and more...

Hi,
I'm new here and new to the CoolSat stuff so please don't delete this thread because I have no idea what to even search for to answer my question.
OK, so I got a satellite and a USB that came with these two things on it:
CS6100_NORW_V125_20071203.ird
CS6100_NORW_V127_20071208.ird

What are those two things and how do I use those to access satellite cable? Also, I can't access any channels so please can someone help me with all my problems and explain to me what to do.

Firstly i don't test with your model CS ,but programs R explained like this:CS6100_ =up that point in program line is for what version of CS(Coolsat)it is for, NORW_=program creator Norwest group(always CS support Team)V125_=what version the file(always called bin when dealing with real testers:there4 V127=a newer bin than V125 so you don't even use 125, the last part of the file/bin is the date of creation.Secondly you will need to download a loader program(tool) to transfer bins to U'R CS(i will attach the newest tool usedCoolsat ProLoader ver.2.4) 3rdly all the files on these sites R compacted down so you will need to find a version of Winzip or Winrar(better) on internet and download 2 open all zipped/compressed files.These are the basic things 2 get you on the rite track but the only way to learn FTA is to READ..READ..AND READ SOME MORE, B4 trying to just jump in or you will surely fry that new Coolsat..aka:STB..aka IRD..aka:reciever. Last tip; in your user profile (under your name Family Guy) you should fill in all info regarding the system U R trying to use so Sr.Members know what they are trying to help u with:eg. a)type&model of reciever(U'R case=Coolsat6100) b)what dishes U'R tryin to pick up(what sats in sky U'R dishes are pointing to) c)what is the latest bin U have loaded d)i suggest u read all u can on FTA how to posts u can B4 u load any thing into machine e)finally the more info given about a specific problem the better help u'll get and the more u know what u'r talkin about the easier testing gets

1 more quick comment-what do u mean by:"i got a satellite and a USB with these 2 things on it" -a USB is the cord that is used with a computer to join it to something to transfer data, so i hope u at the very least know that,or else u better not even attempt to load anything into U'r box/CS without spending a good month of reading tutorials on testing with FTA,also what is the type of dish u'r tryin 2 use?we all have 2 start some where and i read until i totally understood what i was attempting to do(everyone just thinks FTA is goin on the internet downloading a file and u'r watching tv...hint:nothin is easy and you can never learn enough about anything.I been doin' this 4 approx. 4yrs. and i still pick up something new ev'ry time i read into an interesting thread

midfixd...u r a good guy...i hope he'd understand it. i think it'd be alot easier if he get an on-hand instruction just once from the guy he bought it from. it's really confusing if u r a virgin at this.

Thanks for the help, I'll go read up some more on it before I try anything. And by USB, I mean I got a USB Stick(memory stick) that had those two files on it.
