I recommend you use xdrive if you use online storage. I have use it for years and never had a problem.

You can set up a free My Yahoo account (my.yahoo.com), you can add a "Briefcase" feature that lets you upload and download files for remote storage. Not as good as XDrive though.
The best way for backing up you data is to get a USB drive. The sell them a bestbuy and futhershop. They are cheap and you can take it with you any where you go!
