ST. LOUIS, Yadier Molina drove in four runs Friday, two of them with a fifth-inning homer, helping boost St. Louis to an 8-4 decision over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Cardinals won their third straight and raised their regular-season record in their last 23 games against the Dodgers to 19-4.

St. Louis built an 8-2 lead through five innings. Molina had an RBI single as part of a three-run first and also drove in a run with a fielder's choice grounder in the third.

Molina's homer, his fourth of the season, finished the St. Louis scoring. The Cardinals have won the first two games of the series by a combined score of 15-5.

St. Louis starter Jaime Garcia was replaced after giving up two runs on eight hits in 3 1/3 innings. Kyle McClellan (1-2) got the win with 1 2/3 innings of relief.

Chad Billingsley (7-5) suffered the setback, coughing up seven runs on 10 hits in four-plus innings.

Los Angeles slugger Manny Ramirez, who came off the disabled list Thursday, left the game in the first inning Friday due to tightness in his right calf.
