Need Help on Viewsat Extreme

Hey Everyone,
Iam really new to all this BIN stuff. Could some one give me instructions as to how can I download the latest BIN for viewsat extreme 2000 from my laptop and upload in onto my receiver.
Also, Do I need to be a paid member to do the above?

ok you still need a a basic understanding of how to save files on your computer. How to download is as follows,

A message will look like this.

DBPSW-071124P ****<-- is the program name DBPSW (software) 071124p is the date code and the model of the fix. 07 YEAR 11 MONTH and 24 DAY. the p on the end stands for plat/lite (model of the reciever you are fixing)

- Main software : DBPSW-071124P
- Bootloader : 0.0C

* Change
( Main software upgrade )
- DN PPV AR Update

is the file you want to download. It is in a zipped format and needs to be unzipped to use. (http://www.rarlab.com or www.winzip.com)

in this example the P at the end of the files lets you know what the file is for. 071124P

p = plat and lite users (DBPSW-071124P)
x = extreme users (DBPSW-071124X)
u = ultra users (DBPSW-071124U)
b = pro users (DBPSW-071124B)
