Need help with Viewsat Extreme vt2000

I know i did the research and i did find the posts and i followed all the steps but yet i still have problems... i still cant upload the new bin to my reciever, i baught the new cable " rs232 serial 9p 6ft db9 straight f/f" like it said on one of the posts i opened loader 2.2 unziped the bin and then , PC-> STB and all i get is " Sending ZRQINIT..." i tired everything on with the power at the back turning it on and off, and etc... any else had this problem and found a solution???
please help me out here..

Do you have windows vista....cuz vista give problems some times.????????...have you tried to send the file as soon as you turn the receiver on....Cus timing is very important when sending them.

yea i tried that too, as soon i turned the reciever on i click PC -> STB no goodie..

yea sorry guys, i've been very very busy with school and my work, but im gettin my life back on track so ill be helpin out again..

is there like a 'windows vista com port update' or something? where vista could atleast recognize there is a port there...? :S i've tried everyting and still no goodie...

welcom back Stewie! I think the problem is the cables.. Co's i've tried to use my Coolsat cable for ViewSat...and it doe'sn work! have u try using USB instead?
