I wanted people who OWN these receivers to give their opinions on the Receiver they have.

-Are the programs hard to load?
-How many HD Channels are available at the moment?
-Do you have a 720p-i TV or a Full HD 1080p-i TV?

If you could, would you have waited for a newer Receiver that might have been cheaper with better options?

I'm almost ready to press "BUY NOW" But I want to make sure it's all worth it.

I am testing a Pansat HD 9000 receiver and I find that it works well. There are about 40 HD channels out there, including NHL Channels, NFL, Pay Per Vu, and the normal Networks.
It's down right this minute but so are alot of other receivers. Just waiting for a fix.

1. Its as easy to load the HD receiver as Regular
2. 50-60...but i have less than half of that cause my satellite dish is not alligned right and im not getting half the transpoders im supposed to...
3. I bought Coolsat 8000HD and im using Sony Bravia 40' Full 1080 TV, works excellent :notworthy:
DEFINETLY WORTH 2 BUY!!! :goofy:

Well, I'm sure it goes down like the rest of the Receivers so that isn't the problem for me.

What Transponders are you suppose to be getting to get the max HD Programs?

Is one receiver better then the next?
If so I wonder which one.
If you guys have your take please fill me in.

I do OWN the Pansat HD 9000 receiver and it works well. You must remember that nothing HD is broadcasted in 1080p and very little in 780i, most is broadcasted in 480p. The 720p and 1080p is mostly used in blueray dvd's's.

-Are the programs hard to load? NO, USB key, very simple
-How many HD Channels are available at the moment? 40 - 50
-Do you have a 720p-i TV or a Full HD 1080p-i TV? 480 - 720 and 1080 compatible
_ transponders required, standard for HD reception. I did not have to change mine.

If you could, would you have waited for a newer Receiver that might have been cheaper with better options? No, I bought mine off of Ebay for $300 a few months ago.

I hope this has helped.

Thanks a lot for your response.

What Transponder will I need to make the HD work?
As of the moment. I have the Oval Dish 500 with the dual LNB.
