[General Question?] How do you scan channel

I look all over for a how to scan for channel on the cnx-nano and can't find it

I guess I want to remove and delite the old channels
and start fresh and do a rescan to find other channels

remember in dummie term step by step..

if you want to start a new thread and I will put it into sticky and close it..

a few more thing i got to learn on these type of system then i will be a pro ready to take on the WORLD!

hey wizzard now that i got this system working good could into the step by step on changing my channel list and rescan i got a good idea on how to do it but i don't want to mess up my box now when i got it working real good..

O K, I found what I was looking for,,
and hope this info will help other out,,,

delete your channels on 110 and 119 and rescan

how to delete couteousy of mavrick
Go into Menu then Channel Manager, scroll over to the Delete Tab, select the delete-mode you want (Channel or Sat) with the “yellow” button on remote.

For “channels”…….scroll down to the one/ones you want to delete, press ok on each (icon will change) then press “blue” button on remote to delete.
For “sat”……..when you switch to sat-mode hit “ok”, all channels will be selected (icon will change on all channels) then press “blue” button on remote to delete entire sat. The sat that's selected will be which-ever sat you were watching before you went into the Menu..

also you can just rescan with out deleting channels just goto the scan and your channels you have will stay but it would just add newest channels..

this will give the new PPV channel..

hey u did it on your own that's what this is all about he. he. you can also save different channel list per each member of your family and have your own favorite channels for each and can be save with each persons name but I think that you should discover that on your own this way you can spoon feed a Newbie....well got to go Dr. App time....(B) Bl8tr...

thank you WIZZARD I seen that forum but was not able to fully under standing it, so I found a few more forums here and then put a little of each to come up with the way I could understand it, and in hope that any newbie see this in a different lite,,
