[Noobie Question?] Is Pansat 3500sd working for bev?

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and kinda new to settting up Pansat. I've had my 3500sd for about 3 years and have been quite satisfied with it. It was set up by a friend who showed me how to retrieve Bin files and load them using an SD Card, that's all I know about what to do with Pansat.
May question is this, ever since the fall of 2008 big shut down I have not been able to get it back up for bev. It seems the new bin files have and "emu" ending and ever since these came out I keep loading them but no success...am I doing something wrong? Was I suppose to do something else before loading the emu files? Btw what does the "emu" mean and why the change over to these type bins?

BEV is still down....... unless you are on IKS receiver and the only receivers on IKS are

Nfusion, CAPT, Neosat, Kbox, and on slinger bev, there has not been a realease for your recever yet.... you can re-aim your dish and get different porgraming (DN) below is the link on how to re-aim your dish....
