new to pansat

Ok. Im using a D!sh 500 D!sh with a 4 x 4 switch with the 2 lines from the D!sh going into the 22khz port. I was getting good signal and the channels were coming in, but all had the dollar sign next to them. What's next? Its also taking a long yime to download the bin file to the receiver. Please help.

If your dish is looking at dn, there is not much to do right now as no Pansat bins work. If you are looking at bev, download the latest BIN for your receiver in the files section. The bin downlaod at 9600 baud takes around 2 minutes. The dollar sign means the channel you are tuned to is encrypted. There are a couple of clear channels on DN, 100, 500 is two of them. On bev, 414, 569 are two. See if you receive them.
