Hey, I justy recently bought a brand new Xbox 360 WA, and I tried connecting it.. But it wont work. When i didn't have the WA, I used ethernet cable and it worked fine in automatic configuration settings. But now, when i try connecting with WA, it says failed to connect to xbox live. The WA has a green LED, and I tried to fix up the IP adress, but that wouldn't work, so I changed it back to automatic. And I dont want to call xbox support or just give up and use ethernet cable. The modem and router is 25 feet away from the WA and the T.V. Can anyone please show me a understandable step by step guide? I dont think is my WA problem, probabley my computer or internet. I use Windows XP. And I get the xbox live fail between Xbox 360 and My internet connection. (My internet connection has full 4 bars.) And I use a wireless G router, and a lynksys modem. Also, the DHCP is enabled, and so is the IP routing. What is the problem here??Thanks Nayr :D I got it working by typing in the WEP key.

Wow. I am not a TECHY, so give me a second to figure all of this out. I had similar problems, so I just go the futureshop guy to wire it up when he installed my new computer. But I watched him. I suggest actually setting up all of your I.P. Address and gateways and what not. If that fails, make sure that your router has enough slots for another wireless signal. Also, if you are using a wireless network, make sure that you have it's WPA key, or password. Nothing worked for me until I got that. I can't really give you a step-by-step guide since your problem was way more complex than mine. I suggest setting your network settings back to the defaults and then searching for a wireless network. When you find yours, put in the WPA key and it should auto-connect. If that doesn't work, E-mail me (nayr.redak@yahoo.com) and I will see if I can help. I have a few friends that install wireless networks and stuff. Hopefully that helps!
