Channel Change Error

8000 HD receiver produces error message "Channel Change Error".
Even a factory reset did nothing.
What should I do?

Yes thats right .... the HD8000_V0211_UD_ERROR. is not the same error use new file ..Cheers

I had the same problem again. Uploaded the latest bin "hd8000_TE_19APL2010_v477_b207.bin". Now I do not have the error but no picture either.

did you try to a hard reboot after you loaded the file/bins???

This bin brought IP Config back but still no picture. Is everybody else running OK?

Could it be that factory reset removed iHub serial number? I do not see any place within menus to enter it again.

Honestly I think it is a change for better. Instead of having picture gone 10 seconds every minute, now I am in peace to know it does not work at all. The worst money I ever spent in the last 10 years on any receiver.
What does work? If there is more than 1 choice, what's the best?

Sonicview is down yet the above list says Dish up 50%. So I assume the list is valid when up and running not the current status, right?
And then how about stability? nFusion was great when it was being supported. No wonder since the receiver was designed for IKS with internal LAN. Sonivview was just aweful. How about the rest? Which one produces a steady picture and which one not? Thanks.

Thats a current list so it sound like sonicveiw is up and running this being said I have not try-ed my yet but I have done some reading & It sounds like its down more than up good luck I know its a pain in the ass ....as for a new box I'd like to give you some input but its a real crap shoot.. you have to make your own choice ....i have a friend that has a consat nano2 its up and down as well but seems to work OK cheers

Using "HD8000_P_v510_BETA" the network adapter got disappeared again. Is it me or everybody is in the same boat?
