Well brennen this can be fixed in most cases but its not easy.
Most likely your partition is corrupted in windows, possible symptoms are:
- Invalid media type reading drive Abort, Retry, Fail?
- File system is displayed as 'RAW'- Windows may ask if you want to format the drive, such as warning "disk not formatted. do you want to format now?" (DO NOT format the drive you will loss all your data.)
- File names containing 'weird' characters
- 'Sector not found' messages
Use you hard drives manufacturer's utility software to diagnose and repair the errors.

They all have diagnostic software to repair hard drives. It will let you know if your drive is still fully functional and factory recertify it.
