Hi All;
I have a SV8000 with A I-Hub its updated a 2.2 my ipconfig is set up correctly and back in July it was working as good as sv's work freeze freeze ect.
Well my dog ate my cat5 LAN cable so I was down for a while. My I hub was at 1.9 back then and the receiver bin was 510 or 511 I'm not sure.
Well I decided to install a 8PSK module for HD and tryed to get things going again. No luck I have tried everything from starting the I-hub clean at rom100 then update 1.4 to 1.9 to 2.1 then 2.2 nothing,
Same with receiver bins from factory to system clean to 492,505,511 then 514 Surprise nothing again.
After aimlessly wandering around I found I can get 101 Pic & Sound and I can get HBO ch. 300 Audio only, strange right?
Well I thinking if I get Audio on HBO the the I hub's working and the problem i the 8PSK Module is screwing thing up but right now I'm just grasping a straws.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, at this point I'm out of ideas.
Thanks Pete

Hey Dells;
I disconnected the 8PSK today and still same problem, I also checked ch. 300 with out the I-Hub and it still get audio and no video so no big deal there.
Here is my settings in wiznet-
local ip -192.168.1.105
subnet - 255.255.255.0
gateway- 192.168.1.1
Operation mode - mixed
use DNS is checked
DNS server ip - 192.168.2.1
Domain name is *****
Both ports are 1920

I have a newer I-Hub with the wm in the serial # on the back but I don't think that is the s/n thats needed because it has no letters in it like ff or 4e and its has 15 digits not 16. Do the newer hubs need a s/n? If it does where would it be?
Like I said it worked before with the 1.9 and a older bin like a 505 so I's completely lost now, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Pete

Yp I'v tried 192.168.1.1 with no luck I'v even tried 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4. and a lot of other's all with no luck, I'm running static
Thanks Pete

OK.............start from scratch.
Make sure hub has 2.2 and set as DHCP
Turn off receiver
Unhook hub and sat cable
Re-boot receiver and load current bin then power down and reconnect sat cable
Power up re-scan power down
Reset modem, and router
Reconnect hub
Power up and turn to channel 114
Make sure you get network adapter connect and wait on 114 for awhile
While waiting check that your settings are on dhcp still on wiznet

That was well worth a shot Dells Thanks but no joy here its still "no service Scrambled". I can't think of anything els to do I might of fried the unit when I installed the 8PSK I don't know, this is just too strange.
If you think of anything els let me know, I appreciate the effort.
Thanks Pete

No problem. I got some wierd crap with mine. In 2 years I could always get it running, been down for a month now since new file and still can't figure it out. What file are you running?

You should be running 512. I have 2 WM hubs also and can't figure out for the life of me what's up with them. They connect, they ping, they show up in the router and occasionally I get tv for an hour then there off again for 2 days. It's screwy man.

I'm running 514 I haven't see 512 but maybe these wm's just cant run on these new bin's?
I going to beat that dam dog for chewing my Lan cable it hasn't worked after that. Dam dog

Well I finely got it! I turns out the s/n was wrong? I had to go back to bin 492 and change what was there but I have a "wm" I-Hub so I had to use buttman302's "lost or forgotten your SV serial#, No problem " thread to figure out what my s/n was. I then applied the correct s/n, unplugged the I-Hub and updated to the 514 bin plugged the I-Hub back in rebooted and put it on 350 and let it sit. After a while it came on.
I doesn't seem to have allot of channel's up right now but at least it works as I said it was driving me crazy, now I can forget about it.
The dog lucked out I couldn't find a hot dog bun big enough for him, he weighs 90 pounds so no dog barbecue.
Thanks for the help Pete
