Well you never mentioned which 3rd party bin file you loaded-----You won't get provider TV without a 3rd party bin file loaded -------and you never mentioned what dongle you are using, -----IX-200 or IX-400.

If you don't have the latest Bin file loaded and you are not using one of the 2 Dongles then you certainly won't be watching any provider TV.

Im not sure, I think IX-200 File names, IX-X00-F_A2.0.3_T1444.DNG &
IX-X00-E-A2.0.6_T1927 (ve seen so many Im not sure what is current.
Im using dish pro 500 twin Lnb. They removed the DP-34 Sw and only hooked up one (1) cable? TV says Im receiving 110 and 119? Dish is working fine.
Thank you for replying

What Dongle are you using need to be established.????

What bin file have you got loaded.?

Different Dongle Files for CNX

.DGL File = IX-200 Dongle.

.DNG File = IX-400 Dongle.

On your dish500,,
It look like they set you up with a DDP Twin dish or something in that order,, if that the case your LNB's are built into the beams and you would have only 1 cable comming out and going stright to the reciever,,

OK, here is what I have: Conaxsat CNX-Duo, System info, sw:mv05.16 (feb-06) LDR 1.08, HW ver:1.00 USB 2.0 driver 1.00,DUO/TRIO (4). Dish Network pro-500Plus(only using 1 cable) mounted on top of house in MN (temp -2w/10"snow) downloaded and unziped to usb stick (IX-X00-F_A2.0.3_T1444.DNG) (IX-X00-EA2.0.6_T1927.DGL)
(DTP_5.16_factory.LDR) (DTP_5.16_factory.UPB). When I plug the stick into the box all files are listed on screen under USB Utility, however when I remove the stick they all go away, even when I save them? Iam not using a DONGLE, should I be? Is the BIN file the Factory file? As you can tell, I am very new to this and need step by step instructions untill I get going. Thank You

no a dongle has plug on it for a internet cable to plug in and then the dongle plugs into serial port on back of CNX.

Unless you are using them for true FTA, the answer is yes, you would have to have a dongle or built in connection to connect to the internet to view DN or B3V....

yes you need to be constantly hooked to internet, and it runs fine wireless or on a bridge, even dial-up will work.
