[Help!] Did I FRY my CW700S ?

Hi Guys

I am looking for some info....Last night when BEV was down I had to swap around a few cables to get digital cable on the tv and I accidently inserted the digital cable feed into the LNB/IN on my receiver. It was in for a few minutes before I noticed and changed it. Today I loaded the fix into the receiver and nothing works ...all i get is WEAK SIGNAL and I can not get any signal strength or quality at all. I have borrowed a friends receiver and it works fine with my dish. I have fooled around and can not make any progress...HELP

Do a factory reset and rescan your sat but first write down your sat settings .......should be ok........ It's the new bin in 1.84 ????????

Thanks for the advice...Gives me some hope

Any chance anyone can give me step by step directions for this procedure...I am embarrassed to admit that I am a noob ( remember I stuck the digital cable into the LNB input on the receiver )
