Re: ultra problem

well i have been on another fta website and i guess the same problem was happening to them as well for pretty much all viewsats that i could read....so im not sure what the problem is i think they got the program and we have to wait for the new one to come out..

Re: ultra problem

i have found out how to get control of the box/receiver...unplug the sat cord from the dish(s) that go to reciever and leave it unlplugged until there is a new file that comes out....

i also tried unplugging the sat cord and turning it on then puttin the cord back in and still does the same thing freezes the box

VIEWSAT users may have been experiencing some problems today when viewing pay-channels on D!sh or B3V the receiver may FREEZE and start showing numbers 2 or 4 or 5 on the display.

To have your receiver working again you must power cycle the receiver (power off then on) from the switch on the back of the receiver with the satellite cable removed from the box and switch to non premium channel then connect the satellite cable back to the receiver. This is a TEMPRORY FIX until a new file is released; this is due to current ECM in stream.

Here is a step by step instruction
  • Unplug the Satellite cable from the Receiver
  • Power off the receiver
  • Power on the receiver
  • Change channel to NON premium channel
  • Plug your satellite cable back to the receiver.
  • Note: Try not to go and view premium channels/otherwise you will have to do this step again. Happy watching.

not for me! any thoughts? the second i plug the sat cable in it kicks out! this is after i left it unplugged for a couple of hours!
