need help with ppv

hi there I am running viewsat pro with latest bin and dn 110w I know it is down right now but a little while ago i had to do a factory reset on my reciever and lost my ppv did a channel scan but still no luck can someone help me please get my ppv back thanks peace

I am running VS Extreme on 110W and I haven't had PPV for a couple weeks
I am running the exact same thing and don't have any problems, everything is running perfect.I remember having a similar problem one time and this might be a bit of over kill but it worked. Factory reset, then I downloaded a factory default file into it, then newest working file, then a vs channel list and away it went. I am not any sort of pro at this but it worked. hope it helps
i'm using viewsat ultra and i know the antenna settings for echostar 7 lnb frq. 11250 tp 11239 but when i set it up like this i have no signal (no blue bar and no yellow bar on the bottom right of the screen). the only setting that i found some kind of activity is lnb frq. 10600 tp 11745 or something close. just a month before i had all the channels but now i can't find univision, bet, mtv... and the list goes on i have the leatest files i did blind scan, auto scan, facotry reset still not getting my channels my settings echostar 7 lnb. frq. 10600 standard tp 11745 (or close) motor none port 1. please could you guys help me. each time i want to save my antenna setting with lnb frq. 11250 and tp 11239 not only there's no sign of activity the tp still changes to 11745 it's like it's the default or something i really need your help guys thx.

Well, DN uses a circular LNB at Freq 11250. That is the correct setting and you have the right transponder as well.. Even if you don't get any quality you should have some signal (signal means that the reciever is getting power to the lnb) I would check your disq settings again.. And i would try the other side of the lnb. It is possible you have a bad side. If those fail you may have a bad cable, or a bad switch... A quick way to check is with a multimeter.. Set it on DC 20V and mesure the power comming out of the end of the coax. Should be around 18v to 12v Higher is ok but any less then 12v and you have a wire issue or your tyner in your reciever is pooched...

took a while to figure out
once I changed the tp to 2266 where my quality read in the 80/s
i picked up ppv no problem
do a factory reset
go to attenna
once the quality reads above 60
then scan and you will pick up all your ppv
this worked for me
you cant get ppv if your quality is 50 or below

wavebabies, how can u change the tp 2266? my viewsat won't allow me to do that co's it won't save it. the tp always remain the same. archangel told me that it's factory saved, u can't change it. it's pretty interesting that u can do it. maybe, something a woman can do certain things that men can't??

click on the tp part in e attenna menu and keep pressing till you get the quality you need
